He broke into comics in 2005 with the lead story in BATMAN ALLIES SECRET FILES AND ORIGINS. (A lifelong Batman fan who dressed up as the Caped Crusader as a child, he can’t believe his luck.)

Truly, there was a time when classic meant the heroes of the genre that broke down the artistic walls to bring anime to the American market. One of the greatest pioneers you youngin’s probably don’t remember is Robotech. Does “Macross” ring a bell? But Robotech wasn’t just slapping on subtitles or voicing over the show. It was a true adaption of the first several Macross storylines for American audiences to appreciate its subtleties.
